Start by determining what you want to do! Once you start to file away your nail, natural or press on, you can’t add length back (unless you replace your press on, of course), so make sure you have a plan of attack. Choose your desired shape and get to work! If you have lots of shaping to do, start by using the pink, more coarse side of the nail file to do the heavy lifting. Short strokes going in the same direction are recommended. Once you have the shape you are happy with, use the white side, with a finer grit to fine-tune and smooth out those rough edges. Ta-da!
