Girls Weekend is a fun-filled few days spent with fellow Brand Ambassadors, Affiliates, and Red Aspen Company Leaders and Team Members. It’s held each year in September, and we use that time to unveil and train on new products, announce new company programs, and recognize Brand Ambassadors for the amazing things they accomplished over the previous year. 

The Girls Weekend After-Party is a virtual event designed to inspire Brand Ambassadors and Affiliates from across the U.S. to connect, learn, and grow. The event includes new product information, training, and an awards recap. Plus, there’s an optional Girls Weekend After-Party Product Pack available to purchase so those who can’t attend In-Person Girls Weekend can still get their hands on new products at a discount before they’re available on the website.

Girls Weekend 2026 is in Birmingham, Alabama. 

General Session 1 will be hosted at the Alabama Theatre as a special experience for all of our Brand Ambassadors. We have some incredible moments planned!

Yes, we will have buses running throughout the morning of Sept. 11 transporting Brand Ambassadors between the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel and the Alabama Theatre. There’s also no need to wait for a bus! If you’re up for it, you can walk as there’s just 0.8 miles between the two, and downtown Birmingham is pedestrian-friendly.

*Your Red Aspen name tag must be worn to board the buses.

Girls Weekend officially starts on Thursday, Sept. 10 for Directors only, and the in-person convention takes place over the course of two days, starting the morning of Friday, Sept. 11 and concluding with an awards dinner and dance party the evening of Saturday, Sept. 12.*

For attendees who would like to extend their stays, hotel rooms may be reserved at the Group Room Rates up to 2 days before the event and up to 2 days after. This means the discounted room rate is available from Sept. 8 through Sept. 15. You MUST book extended stays early because extended stay rates are dependent upon room availability.

Your in-person Girls Weekend ticket does NOT include: 

- Transportation to and from the event. You are responsible for determining how to get to the event site, parking, etc.

- Parking fees at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel or elsewhere while in Birmingham. You are responsible for determining where to park and all associated parking fees.

- Hotel accommodations. While Red Aspen has negotiated for discounted hotel rooms for those attending Girls Weekend for the event days AND extended stay dates before and after Girls Weekend, you are responsible for booking your hotel room and all associated costs. We’ve added some very playful elements to this year’s Girls Weekend!

- General Session 1 on Friday, Sept. 11, will be hosted at the Alabama Theatre. We have some very special moments planned in addition to it being in a historic locale!

- Lunch will be on your own right after General Session 1 ends. Downtown Birmingham has a diverse food scene, including the Pizitz Foodhall around the corner from the theatre.*

- Immediately following General Session 2 and right outside the Sheraton Ballroom at the Birmingham CityWalk Social, join us for our first Food Truck Social! A variety of options will be available for purchase, and the Red Aspen Treehouse Team will be there to hang out, too!* 

*The only meal provided at Girls Weekend this year is the plated dinner during Awards Night.

Yes, you are responsible for room accommodations. Red Aspen has reserved a block of discounted rooms at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel from Wednesday, Sept. 9 through Saturday, Sept. 12 with check-out on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Depending upon availability of rooms, Red Aspen’s room block rates apply 2 days before the event and 2 days after. Take advantage of discounted room rates and book your hotel rooms at <link to come>. Reserve early as rooms fill up quickly! We anticipate rooms in our room block may sell out fast. Room block rates are limited and based on a first-come, first-served basis. Wear whatever feels comfortable! For General Sessions, some teams wear matching tees, while others are dressed in business casual. Some have been known to lean into our event theme! For Awards Night, we do recommend cocktail attire. For the first time ever and based on Brand Ambassador feedback, we’ll be recognizing Award earners throughout the ENTIRE event. We’ll make sure you know when you’ll be recognized in case it influences what you want to wear for your big recognition moment!

Everyone is welcome to join us for the virtual After-Party on Sept. 21, regardless of whether they attended Girls Weekend or purchased an After-Party Product Pack. In-Person Girls Weekend registration does not come with an additional After-Party Product Pack; however, you are welcome to purchase an After-Party Product Pack in addition to or instead of attending Girls Weekend in Birmingham. Your spouse and family are welcome to accompany you on this trip; however, Girls Weekend activities (Directors Dinner, General Sessions, Food Truck Social, Expo, Awards Night, etc.) are only for registered Red Aspen Brand Ambassadors and Affiliates. 

Mothers may bring infants under the age of 9 months to ALL Red Aspen activities. 

Hotel rooms have 1 king bed or 2 double beds and can accommodate 2 people in each room. Stay by yourself or grab a friend and share a room. 

Parking fees are not included with Girls Weekend registration. Visit the Sheraton Birmingham website for current parking rates.

Directors Dinner is an event held during in-person Girls Weekend hosted by company  leaders. It’s to celebrate the accomplishments of Red Aspen Directors and their commitment to the mission of the organization. It includes dinner, networking opportunities, and an evening of sparkle, fun, and delight! (You have to come to see what we’ve got up our magical sleeves!) 

Directors Dinner is an invitation-only event for Red Aspen Directors that are current at the time of registration; this includes Brand Ambassadors who earn a Director title during the Awards period (Aug. 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026). Check your email for the password to sign up for Directors Dinner. If you earn Director after the Awards period has ended, email events@red-aspen.com so we can include you!

No, Directors Dinner is a special dinner for Red Aspen Directors ONLY. 

Meet us in the Sheraton Ballroom foyer on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6 PM, and prepare to board a chartered bus and be whisked away for a night designed to surprise and delight you!

Can’t tell ya! Directors Dinner will be hosted off-site of the Sheraton Birmingham. We can tell you we have an amazing experience planned (as always). The event will be partially outdoors, so wear something you’ll be comfortable in. See below for information on what to wear!

We love a theme, and we’ve been inspired by Birmingham’s history of an iron and steel town. Why not bring a playful, metallic twist to your look? Think steel, shimmery metallics. • 1-7 PM: Check in early at the Girls Weekend Check-In desk. Event Check-In is located just past the Sheraton Birmingham’s registration foyer. Grab your event packet, avoid lines, and save time!
• 6 PM: Directors Dinner (Invitation Only).* Watch your email for a Director-only password to register and access the details. We have a great evening planned for you!

• 8 AM: Check-in at the Red Aspen Check-in desk. Guests must check-in at the Red Aspen Check-In desk to get their event name tag and lanyard. You must have this on to enter all Red Aspen events throughout the weekend!
   
• 9:30 AM: General Session 1. The first session will be packed with a special guest speaker, surprises, and even a few awards! This year’s opening session will be held at the historic Alabama Theatre. Sponsored buses will go between the hotel and the theater, or enjoy the 15-20 minute walk through beautiful downtown Birmingham.
  
  
• 12 PM: Lunch on your own. You talk, we listen! This year, lunch is on your own, so you can explore all the amazing dining spots near the Alabama Theatre. Grab a sandwich and enjoy the sunshine while you walk back to the Sheraton, or check out the Pizitz Foodhall around the corner from the theatre. The time is yours, so enjoy it your way!

*The buses will be running to take you back to the hotel. Your Red Aspen name tag will be required to board the bus. 

• 2 PM: General Session 2. Session 2 will be at the Sheraton Ballroom and will be packed with product and company announcements, Award moments, and a keynote speech from Red Aspen CEO Jesse McKinney.
  
  
• 5 PM: Food Truck Dinner Social! Food trucks will be available at the Birmingham CityWalk Social (right outside the ballroom). Meals will be available for individual purchase. It’s a relaxed, fun opportunity to connect with other Brand Ambassadors and Red Aspen team members as we kick off the weekend. We hope you join us!

• 9 AM to 12 PM: Expo. Join us in the Sheraton Ballroom for Brand Ambassador-led trainings covering social media, business building, onboarding, enrolling and more. Connect with other Brand Ambassadors and learn from experts in the areas you want some expert guidance and mentoring in.
  
  
• 5 PM: Cocktail hour. Fancy time! Put on that cocktail dress/attire, grab your girls, find a table and get settled. Get yourself a cocktail or fun mocktail and enjoy time with friends.
  
  
• 6 PM: Dinner & Awards Ceremony. Join us for an incredible hosted dinner and watch incredible Brand Ambassadors from across the nation be recognized for their inspiring work.

*Note everyone must be seated by 6 PM so dinner service can begin.

• Until 10:30 PM: Dance Party will immediately follow the Awards Ceremony.
