Take full advantage of Shopify website features like Wishlist and the BA Locator. These tools are designed to help grow your sales and deepen customer engagement. Don’t wait to start using them to maximize your success!
Tips to Help Customers Find you
Red Aspen is committed to helping you grow your business to its fullest. If customers are discovering Red Aspen through you, we want them to utilize you as their Brand Ambassador. Here are a couple of things you can do to help your customers find you and ensure their purchases are attributed to you.
1. Change the name in My Account > My Profile to match your most prevalent social media handle. Most customers will know you through your social media, so they’ll likely search for you the same way.
For example, let’s say the name in your Red Aspen website account is Jesse McKinney, but your prevalent social media handle is @beautywithjess. Your customers will likely search “beautywithjess” or “jess” to find you, but they won’t be able to pick you out from the list of other Brand Ambassadors. Therefore, your best bet to catch these customers would be to change your name in My Account > My Profile to the social media handle or name your customers know you by.
2. You have the option of adding your social media handles to your website. Go to My Account > My Profile to add your social media handles. These will show up in your profile and be available to your customers if they click on the “You are shopping with” tab on the homepage.
3. If you communicate with most of your customers through social media, then choose that social media handle as your preferred method of contact. Go to My Account >My Profile and in Personalize Your Site, mark your preferred method of contact. Your preferred method of contact will be displayed to a customer shopping the Join Now section of your website.
4. We always, always recommend double-checking that you're sharing your unique website link with customers! You can find your unique website link in Your Account, and you can copy it from there to share with others.
Wishlists
Both you and your customers can create wishlists on the Red Aspen website, making it easy to keep track of top-selling beauty favorites. Wishlists are a great sales tool because they allow customers to save products for later, encouraging repeat visits and future purchases. You can create multiple lists, so whether you’re shopping for yourself, your friends, or even curating product ideas for customers, be sure to keep this feature in mind!
To add items to a wishlist, just click the heart icon on any product photo and choose which list to add it to. Ultimately, this feature is a simple yet powerful way to help personalize the shopping experience and keep customers engaged with your offerings.
Red Aspen BA Locator
The Brand Ambassador (BA) Locator is another super powerful tool at your disposal, and it’s designed to help customers find and connect with local Red Aspen BAs, including you! Not only does it make it easier for customers to shop Red Aspen Products, but it also serves to help drive potential sales.
Customers can access this feature through the Red Aspen website by clicking the “Find a Brand Ambassador” tab and searching by zip code. Brand Ambassadors who sell 300 PV in the previous month will appear in the Zip Code Locator, ensuring visibility to customers within a 50-mile radius. This feature randomly displays eligible BAs, giving you a chance to connect with new customers in your area. Make sure you’re visible to maximize your reach and sales potential!
Pro Tips:
- If you prefer not to appear on the BA Locator, you can easily turn it off in the "Personalize Your Site" settings.
- The BA Locator will not be visible if you are signed into your Brand Ambassador account. To find and view it, sign out of your account and refresh the www.redaspenlove.com home page.
Can Red Aspen customers and Brand Ambassadors build Wishlists?
Yes, wishlist functionality exists on the website and can be used to keep track of your customers' most wanted items. That’s one of its main perks!
What is the Brand Ambassador Locator?
The Brand Ambassador (BA) Locator is an easy-to-use web application on Red Aspen’s website that allows customers to locate Red Aspen Brand Ambassadors by name or by zip code.
What do I need to do to show up on the Red Aspen BA locator?
To show up in the Red Aspen BA Locator by name or website URL, BAs will need to sell 300 PV in the previous month. From there, when a customer searches by zip code, all eligible BAs within a 50 mile radius will populate in a randomly assorted list on the display.
What if I don’t want my information to show up on the BA Locator. What do I need to do?
The default setting for the Brand Ambassador Locator is set to “ON,” so if you don’t wish to show up on the locator, you’ll need to turn it off via Account > Personalize Your Site.
Red Aspen Brand Ambassadors will also need to select if they’d like their email and phone number to populate with their information on the tracker. The default settings do not populate email or phone number unless the Brand Ambassador has turned it on.
