To make something great, you need to start with an exfoliated base - so get the dry skin out of here! Hop in the shower, or simply wet your mitt and give your skin a scrub with our Exfoliating Mitt. No water? No problem! Our Exfoliating Mitt can be used wet or dry to exfoliate and prime skin.

If you are using a body lotion, we recommend using about a palm-sized amount of product. If you’re applying Tanning Drops to your face, you can use your normal amount of face lotion or foundation. 

Yes, be sure to wash your hands well and get in between your fingers after applying.

We do not recommend mixing Tanning Drops with anything that can break down the skin and cause a patchy application (Vitamin A, acids, Retinol, etc.).

The active ingredient in most sunless tanning products is called Dihydroxyacetone, or DHA. DHA reacts with your skin’s surface layer to temporarily darken your skin. Red Aspen’s DHA is 100% natural and plant based!

Yep! It’s normal for DHA to develop a slight tint as it sits in the bottle over time. It has no effect on the performance of the product.

We always advise a patch test on stretch marks or scars. Typically, a tan can help reduce or minimize the appearance of older scars and stretch marks. If it is a more recent injury or scar, we do not recommend using tanning products on them. 

You should wait to apply tanning products until at least 24-48 hours after waxing.
