Ever bought a makeup palette for that one shade? Ya know, the shade you love to tap into over and over, while the other colors sit practically unused?
We’ve been there too. It’s hard to find a palette filled with shades you’ll actually use — until now!
With Red Aspen’s Pressed Powders and Magnetic Palettes, you’ll be able to pick shades you’ll love and build a palette full of them. All of them!
What Are Pressed Powders?
Red Aspen Pressed Powders are highly pigmented powdered makeup designed to add that perfect pop of color to your face and eyes. They’re mutlifunctional, meaning they can act as your new favorite eyeshadow, bronzer, highlight, and so much more.
Our Pressed Powders are certified vegan, cruelty-free, and Aspen Verified. This means our ingredients follow the strict cosmetic rules and regulations set by the European Union, Canada Hot List, US FDA, and California Prop 65. Only the best for you!
Formulated to promote silky application and smooth your skin, Red Aspen Pressed Powders offer excellent coverage and a luxurious feel, all while providing a long-lasting, crease-resistant wear. Not only that, but their highly pigmented formula produces vibrant, high color payoff with minimal fall out.
Since Pressed Powders can be used for multiple types of makeup, you wont need to buy a million different palettes for each step of your makeup routine. One shade can act as an eyeshadow, highlight, and shimmer eyeliner — resulting in less colors you’ll need to buy in the long run! Your call, your choice!
Put simply, Red Aspen Pressed Powders are so full of benefits that they’ll quickly become your go-to powder product.
What Are Pressed Pigments?
A pressed pigment is a little different than a Pressed Powder — so let’s touch on the differences and different uses that pressed pigments have.
Pressed pigments are highly pigmented powder makeup compacted into a solid form. They provide more intense color payoff with more vibrant color because they include less “filler” ingredients that can decrease the vibrancy of the pigment.
That said, it’s important to note that pressed pigments are often not intended for use in the immediate eye area, and this goes for Red Aspen’s pressed pigment shade “Delight,” a holographic, metallic pink pressed pigment. But don’t worry! As you an see below, “Delight” still makes for the perfect shimmer highlight <3.
Customizing Your Magnetic Palette
Pair Pressed Powders with our Magnetic Palettes! Available in 4 different styles and 2 different sizes, you’ll have your choice between a 4 pan or 16 pan size — giving you all the freedom to create the palette of your dreams!
Our Pink Glitter Magnetic Palette and Blue Magnetic Palette are designed to securely hold 4 Pressed Powders, whereas our Rose Gold Magnetic Palette will fit 16 pans of your choice.
The magnetic surface helps to keep the pans in place, allowing you to quickly organize and swap out different shades on the fly. Ideal for creating a personalized, on-the-go makeup kit, our magnetic palette helps keep your products neat, organized, and compact.
With these palettes, you can select any Pressed Powder you desire, pop them into place, and presto! You’ve just created your own custom palette perfectly tailored to all your makeup goals.
Tips on Organizing and Maintaining Your Palette
The best part of the Magnetic Palette and Pressed Powder combo is you can lay things out in whatever way your heart desires. However, there are still some useful tricks we’ve discovered that we would love to share with you!
Shade Organization
It’s helpful to organize your Pressed Powder palette in order of shades. Keeping light shades near each other and darker shades together will help to reduce the amount of powder dust transferring and changing the true color of the Pressed Powders.
Mixing Shades
If you are hoping to mix some colors together to create the ultimate shade for you — then place those pans near each other so you can swirl your brush over each color simultaneously.
Cleaning Your Palette
To clean your magnetic palette, gently wipe the interior with a soft cloth or alcohol prep wipe, being careful not to saturate the magnet. Do not submerge the palette in water!
Removing Pressed Powders
To remove Pressed Powders from your magnetic palette, start at the empty circle in the bottom right corner of the palette. This spot provides space to easily lift the first pan. Use a small tool (like a makeup spatula or tweezers) to gently lift the Pressed Powder pan and remove it from the magnetic base. Make sure to always begin at the designated spot to avoid damaging the palette or pans!
