MERIDIAN, ID- Red Aspen was awarded “Best Women-Owned Business of the Year” today by the Meridian Chamber of Commerce. This award was one of seven awards given to local small businesses in the Meridian, Idaho, area.
The Meridian Chamber of Commerce, which has nearly 800 members and participating organizations, received 76 nominations for the 2022 Small Business Awards. This annual award recognizes seven businesses across seven categories.
The annual Small Business Awards are “meant to call out the great things being done in our community and recognize those that create a great workplace, provide excellent service, and support the community at large,” per the Meridian Chamber of Commerce.
“Being recognized as the best women-owned business in our community is such an honor,” says Jesse McKinney, CEO of Red Aspen. “We love our Meridian community, and we’re excited to continue giving back and growing within the community.”
Red Aspen was celebrated and given its award today at the annual awards luncheon. Other honorees included Hubble Homes, Loose Screw Beer Co., and Simmons Fine Jewelry, amongst others. The social selling beauty and cosmetic company receives this award as they near their 5th anniversary this October.
